Swedish Massage

Also known as "relaxation massage", Swedish massage is the most popular form of massage. The goals of Swedish massage are to relax the entire body by using long strokes that soothe the muscles, to relieve muscle fatigue, and to improve circulation by using strokes that move with blood flow towards the heart.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage therapy is similar to Swedish massage, but uses deeper pressure, which is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension and releasing toxins stored in the muscles. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective connective tissue surrounding muscles, bones and joints).

Myofascial Release Massage

Also known as trigger point therapy. Myofascial massage treats referral pain by locating the source of the pain, or trigger point, which is a hyper-irritable spot in the muscle. Direct pressure is applied, with the goal of causing the tissue to relax, and the trigger point to release.

Translated as "spiritually guided life force energy", Reiki is a therapy often described as palm healing or hands-on-body healing in which the practitioner places their hands lightly on or over a patient's body to direct positive energy, and facilitate the patient's process of healing.

Chair Massage

Chair massage is a very casual form of massage that is usually offered at public events or in workplaces. The client doesn't remove any clothing, and sits on a specially designed massage chair. The therapist then provides massage to the neck, back, and shoulders, and sometimes arms and hands.

Couples Massage

Blue Lotus Massage offers couples massage in a private room, on side-by-side massage tables with two therapists who work on each individual at the same time. It can be a husband and wife, girlfriend and boyfriend, same-sex partners, moms and daughters, or best friends.
